An enduring and enthusiastic presence at Eurovision, Malta has one of the longest unbroken streaks of appearances (stretching back to 1991). And while they are small in size (2nd smallest in geographical size, 3rd smallest in population in this year’s contest), they have punched above their weight with two runners-up spots in the past. There are no less than seven artists making a return to Eurovision this year – that must be approaching some sort of record I would imagine. Since I’m still compiling the YouTube rankings (I’ll finish that this weekend) for the preview countdown, I thought I would keep Eurovision-fever going (well, my own anyway!) with a look back to the returning artists previous Eurovision experience.
