Poli Genova performing at Eurofest at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern

Eurovision royalty came to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern this October with Bulgaria’s two-time contestant Poli Genova gracing the stage in the South London’s (in)famous “pub on a roundabout” (as Myra Dubois would say). I was so excited to see her in my favourite venue (having twice seen her at London Eurovision Preview parties) and she didn’t disappoint!

She treated us to a couple of her singles, a couple of cover songs and of course, her two Eurovision songs – she got a great reaction throughout her set but the crowd went so crazy for her when she got to “If Love Was A Crime” – chants of “Poli! Poli” – I think that’s the loudest I’ve heard a Eurofest crowd for the performing act. I took a couple of short video clips but didn’t make them long – I wanted to enjoy the moment!
