Just missing out on the top 10, it’s our penultimate ex-Yugoslav country in the countdown – Serbia. They are the most successful and consistent of the Balkan countries (winning in 2007) and rarely failing to qualify for the grand final. Can Tijana continue that consistency and take Serbia to another decent result?
I’m a little surprised this is quite as high in the chart as this – not because it’s not a decent song (I enjoy it) but it doesn’t seem to stand out quite as much as a high ranking song would normally do. It’s catchy though and I enjoy the instrumentation at the start – and she can sing well. Actually, I can see why it’s this high after all – it’s got plenty going for it. Will it be enough for it to stand out though in the highly unpredictable semi-final 2? Tijana is performing first which suggests she’s got some good staging – not long till we find out!
